1. General and Site Operator
The website KriatTehillim.co.il ("the Site") is operated by Chai BaReshet, licensed dealer no. 316372465 (Israel) ("the Operator"). Use of the Site is subject to these terms. Continued use constitutes agreement to the terms written here. If you do not agree — please stop using the Site.
2. Purpose of the Service
The Site provides a free platform for communal and personal Tehillim (Psalms) reading. Its purpose is to allow people — families, friends, communities — to divide the chapters of Psalms among themselves and read together for the recovery of the sick, for the elevation of a soul, for the protection of soldiers, and for similar purposes.
The service is provided "as is", without monetary charge for the text itself. The Operator reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
3. Opening Campaigns and Submitting Content
Users may open community campaigns ("books") and enter names and requests for the reading. By doing so, the user declares that:
- They are entitled to enter the information they entered
- The information entered is not harmful, hostile, or unlawful
- The information is not intended for spam, marketing, fraud, or any purpose foreign to the Site's purpose
4. Prohibited Content and Enforcement
It is forbidden to submit content that is:
- Offensive, racist, threatening, harassing, or pornographic
- Unlawful under Israeli law
- Spam, advertisements, or marketing links
- Any content unrelated to the recitation of Psalms
The Operator may remove a campaign or content at any time, without prior notice, if in its sole discretion it violates these terms. Removed campaigns are marked with the status removed and are no longer shown to the public.
5. Segula Content — Traditional Sources
The chapter lists shown on the segula pages (for healing, for soul elevation, for finding a partner, etc.) are based on accepted traditional sources (such as the Rambam, the Ashkenazi siddur, the Sephardic siddur, the Babylonian Talmud, and books of customs). This content:
- Is presented for study and to encourage reading, not as a halachic ruling
- Is not a substitute for rabbinic, halachic, or medical advice
- May vary between different customs and communities
6. Text Source — Westminster Leningrad Codex
The Psalms text displayed on the Site is based on the Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC), the openscriptures/morphhb project. The text is in the Public Domain, distributed under a CC0 license, and is displayed without material change to the vocalization. Quoting, sharing, and distributing the text is permitted without restriction.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty. The Operator is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, including:
- Service unavailability or technical faults
- Deletion of campaigns due to maintenance or malfunction
- Errors in content entered by users
- Reliance on segula content for medical, halachic, or other purposes
8. Changes to the Service
The Operator may change, suspend, expand, or discontinue the service or parts of it at any time, including adding paid features in the future. These terms will be updated accordingly.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising from use of the Site will be adjudicated in the competent courts of Israel.
